People ask "How is Focus On Networking different from other business networking groups ?" We like to say that we’re more relaxed than some and more focused than other similar groups.
Focus On Networking meetings are run to an agenda that is structured toward giving and receiving referrals.
When you visit a Focus On Networking group all members and guests are given the opportunity to give a 60 second presentation about their business. You will also see referrals being passed.
Many visitors impressed with how fun the meetings are. A visitor recently said "I thought networking was boring – but this was relaxed and fun!"
Also at each meeting one of the members will give a 10 minute showcase presentation about their business. This is the time for the member to promote their expertise and why doing business with them is a good idea.
It’s also a great time to let the members know what a good referral is for them and what isn’t.

Having a Focus On Networking group of 15 to 20 members who are looking for referrals for you is like having your very own "secret sales force".
Outside the meeting Focus On Networking members meet for one2ones. That’s when two members will meet up in order to become better acquainted with them and their business. They will either meet at one of their offices, or more usually on neutral ground, a coffee shop or hotel for instance.
Because of these one2ones, Focus On Networking members find it easy to build relationships founded on the ‘know, like and trust’ principle.
When you know, like and trust someone, referrals are the natural result.
Focus On Networking also host other events where networking can take place in a relaxed atmosphere.
